Best Cleaning Gadgets
Cleaning your home can have a positive effect on both your physical and mental well-being. It can help bring a sense of calmness and control, and relieve any unwarranted stress.
To help make those cleaning tasks that whole lot easier, you want to invest in reliable cleaning gadgets, which won’t let you down. There’s nothing worse when a gadget doesn’t quite deliver and live up to expectations.
So, here are some of my favourite tried and tested gadgets, which I believe make all the difference when it comes to cleaning.
Dyson 360 Vis Nav - Controlled via the MyDyson app, you can schedule cleanings, monitor progress, and customise cleaning modes whilst you go about your day. It’s the most powerful robot vacuum, with 6x times the suction of any other robot vacuum on the market. It uses an intelligent 360° vision system to analyse it's surroundings, building a map of your home, so the vacuum can see where it needs to clean.
Flash Speed Mop - I get asked about this mop all the time and will continue to give it high praise. It’s perfect if you only have a quick second for a clean. Use it with wet pads for hard flooring or dry pads for hard flooring and, even walls and ceilings! You’d be surprised at how much dust can cling to your walls, so don’t knock it till you’ve tried it.
Muji Cleaning System Carpet Cleaner - I receive so many comments on my reset videos asking where to buy this gadget. It’s basically a large lint roller for your carpet and rugs. Instead of using a vacuum (which can be too powerful for some rugs), I use this to pick up any dirt or debris. You can also use a telescopic pole attachment for those hard-to-reach areas.
Kärcher Window Vac - This is the best device to use for a streak free clean. The window vac is perfect for cleaning mirrors, windows, shower screens, tiled surfaces and more. It sucks up water or cleaning product to leave a clean, dry, streak free surface behind. It’s also great for tackling condensation too!
Beldray 10-in-1 Steam Cleaner - One of the best additions to my cleaning gadget arsenal. This steam cleaner uses a powerful jet of steam to tackle grease and grime, making it easy for you to wipe away. It comes with five attachments so you can clean whatever the surface, be that your windows, upholstery and more. It’s a great alternative to chemical cleaners!
Baseball Cap Wash Bag - A simple cleaning gadget but a great one nonetheless. I feel like washing baseball caps are often forgotten about, and when you think how much sweat and bacteria builds up on the inside of them. Eww! These wash bags protect your caps ensuring they keep their original shape whilst in the washing machine.
Simplehuman Cleanstation - We are in the future people! Did you know there can be 25,127 bacteria per square inch on your phone, meaning your phone is one of the dirtiest objects we come into daily. This device kills 99.9% of bacteria and cleans your phone in 30 seconds by using powerful UV-C LEDs.
Dyson V15s Detect Submarine - As you know I am a Dyson ambassador, so it wouldn’t be a best cleaning products list without a Dyson product or two. I have a genuine love for these vacuums, and genuinely think they’re the best on the market. This is one of the latest additions. Along with the advanced filtration and powerful suction you’d expect from a Dyson vacuum, the V15 Submarine includes a unique wet roller head to clean hard flooring; picking up liquids, debris and tackling tough stains.
In addition to the wet roller head, you can give your flooring an even thorough clean using the Fluffy Optic cleaner head, which detects hidden dust on your hard floors you normally wouldn’t see.
SonicScrubber Brush - I cannot recommend this cleaning tool enough. Clean every nook and cranny in your home with precision. Its interchangeable heads mean you can clean a variety of surfaces, from tiles and grout, to sinks and footwear. It’s versatile, easy to use and helps you clean your home with ease.
